$26 Software Is Used to Breach Key Weapons in Iraq;

WASHINGTON -- Militants in Iraq have used $26 off-the-shelf software to intercept live video feeds from U.S. Predator drones, potentially providing them with information they need to evade or monitor U.S. military operations.

Senior defense and intelligence officials said Iranian-backed insurgents intercepted the video feeds by taking advantage of an unprotected communications link in some of the remotely flown planes' systems. Shiite fighters in Iraq used software programs such as SkyGrabber -- available for as little as $25.95 on the Internet -- to regularly capture drone video feeds, according to a person familiar with reports on the matter.

Nov sam na forumu.
Ukljucio sam se u diskusiju, da bi postavio ovo pitanje ...

Za neke malo upucenije u satelitskim komunikacijama:

Sta mislite o ovom tekstu, -->> privat.bahnhof.se/wb907234/killuav.htm . Koliko je to izvodljivo, da li su "C - band" i "Ku - band" signali toliko podlozni ometanju, a samim tim i komunikacija izmedju drona i posade na zemlji?
Da li su stvarno ameri ostavili tolike rupe kod ovoliko skupih projekata?
Ako moze neko upuceniji oko elektronskog ometanja da prokomentarise ovaj tekst, da li nasa zemlja moze da priusti neki projekat koji bi ometao BPL kao Predator i td. Da li je to toliko lako izvodljivo kao sto pise u tekstu, a nasi nisu koristili '99. slicne ideje...?

Само да пренесем податак из часописа АФМ да је УК одржавање 3 система Рипер током 3 године у Авганистану коштало 150 милиона фунти. Нимало јефтино.
