Можда је то цифра целокупног пакета разноразног оружја...пошто су тако и у прошлости радили,па је ту једна од ставки и та четири брода...де бре па много би било...један кошта 3-400 мил$,ај за извоз да накирикирају на 500мил$-0,5млрд$...али 3млрд$ по броду је астрономски и сигурно није тако.

Nema tu korupcije. Projekcija je bila da će koštat 220 mil. dolara.
Mislim, da je greška u zarezu. Sada je valjda 500 mil. dolara.

Worse, it could cause the collapse of the Navy’s envisaged “high-low” force structure if the DDG-1000 destroyers and CG (X) cruisers are priced out of the water, and built in small numbers.

That domino has already fallen, as DDG-1000/ DD (X), production has been capped at just 3 ships, and CG (X) was canceled entirely in the FY 2011 budget. As Vice-Admiral Mustin (ret.) and Vice-Admiral Katz (ret.) put it in a 2003 USNI Proceedings article external link:
“Because the Navy has invested heavily in land-attack capabilities such as the Advanced Gun System and land-attack missiles in DD (X), there is no requirement for [the Littoral Combat Ship] to have this capability. Similarly, LCS does not require an antiair capability beyond self-defense because DD (X) and CG (X) will provide area air defense. Thus, if either DD (X) or CG (X) does not occur in the numbers required and on time, the Navy will face two options: leave LCS as is, and accept the risk inherent in employment of this ship in a threat environment beyond what it can handle (which is what it did with the FFG-7); or “grow” LCS to give it the necessary capabilities that originally were intended to reside off board in DD (X) and CG (X). Neither option is acceptable.”

Kako ovi pišu, američka mornarice će se zbog porasta cena skotrljati.

Videćemo neki novi izvor uskoro.

Neće se skotrljati američka mornarica, obrnuto. Do 2020 će imati veći broj brodova nego danas.

Kako god bilo i koliko god koštalo oni će morati da nastave sa projektom jer su sve fregate i ostatak minolovaca izbačene iz aktivne upotrebe i biće prodato a nešto verovatno i dato saveznicima.

Verovatno je cena za sam brod i sve module koji se mogu ugraditi na brod, jer je brod zamišljen kao višenamenski samo se razni moduli u zavisnosti od misije menjaju.

Protiv gomile malih i brzih čamaca sa raketom ne pomaže ništa, previše su mala meta a u gomili ispaljenih raketa na brod oni i nisu primarni cilj, sve dok čamac ne ispali raketu ne smeju im ništa.

To je očekivano poboljšana konfiguracija borbenih sistema na brodu koji ga čini ozbiljnom fregatom, ali je cena i dalje neshvatljiva bar kroz vojnu prizmu. Kroz političku sve je jasno. Kupuje se dalja podrška u borbi protiv šiita, ćutanje na metode režima i finansiranje najbrutalnjih religijskih sekti po svetu.

Da su kupili kod Rusa, za tu cenu bi dobili oko 50 fregata gepard sa klub raketama.
