What do you think, which main infantry weapons will be in Russian Army?
1) AEK-971 assault rifle in 7,62x39mm

2) AK-103 in 7,62x39mm

3) AK-107 5,45mm with balanced automatics

4) other (?)

Yes, because it is too expencive for army and can't be common weapon. Few of them used in special forces, but it difficult stuff for both producton and soldiers.

I vote for AEK-971. It looks like more modern.
But i'm not sure it will be in 5,45 or 7,62 caliber

I would say AEK.

There is no problem with the list. I'm just asking about weapon from the last picture in @Freakazoitt post. Like I said it looks like a rifle from some game rather than a real weapon.

Actually it is lasgun from Warhammer 40000 board game. I put it as unknown type of weapon.

Personaly I would like to see AK-107 or AK-108 in 7,62x39 mm caliber.

Balanced bolt-carrier/bolt group used on this rifles to reduce recoil jumping is the main thing that AK-47 and AK-74 needed to be more adequate rifle for the new age.

AEK has same construction. Not just same, it was first weapon with such balanced system. AK-107 is just adoptation of AEK ideas.

I vote for AEK with two hands and foots.
And i think 7,62mm better that 5,45mm, but discussions since 90s and endless.
