Bahrain Says Giant Discovery Holds 80 Billion Barrels Of Oil
Citat:Bahrain announced on Wednesday the size of the oil reserves in the giant discovery that it had made, and figures dwarf the proved reserves that the island kingdom in the Persian Gulf had prior to the latest oil find.
The huge discovery in west Bahrain, named Khalij Al-Bahrain Basin, is estimated to hold more than 80 billion barrels of oil, Oil Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa said at a press conference today. The volume of natural gas at the field is estimated to be between 10 trillion and 20 trillion cubic feet, AFP quoted the minister as saying on Wednesday.
Bahrain announced a few days ago the biggest crude oil discovery in its history that will “dwarf” its current reserves, and details on the size of the reserves were expected to be released later this week.
Before the latest oil discovery, Bahrain was estimated to have proved reserves of just 125 million barrels of crude.

That is a marked difference from the past, when the SPD were steadfast in their support of gas imported from beyond the Urals. In his term as foreign minister, Mr. Gabriel did not miss a chance to emphasize the importance of Nord Stream 2. The fact that the SPD is now thinking aloud about how to defuse the pipeline dispute, and to dismantle suspicions toward Germany in Eastern Europe, is a break with the past and the cautious approach of Ostpolitik.
Nova vladajuća ekipa SDP ima drugaćiji stav prema Rusiji i time i prema Severnom toku 2. Dali zbog toga stvarna promena politike videćemo.

Bugarska želi da krak "Turskog toka" ide preko njene teritorije. "Gasprom" izgubio 800 miliona evra zbog "Južnog toka"
AKO Bugarska obezbedi finansijske garancije i dozvolu Evropske komisije, velike su šanse da u tu zemlju stigne ruski gas koji bi kasnije mogao da se transportuje do Srbije. Bugarski premijer Bojko Borisov je posle razgovora sa predsednikom Rusije Vladimirom Putinom u sredu pred novinarima u Kremlju kazao da se razgovaralo o produženju kraka "Turskog toka" do Bugarske.
Borisov, za koga u Moskvi kažu da je najzaslužniji za krah projekta "Južni tok", došao je u Moskvu da se izvini jer je "naučio lekciju".
- Ja nosim krivicu za pogoršanje odnosa sa Moskvom. Zahvalan sam što Rusi nisu zlopamtila - kazao je Borisov.
