Greece moves ahead with �598 million C-390 transport aircraft acquisition

The approval, granted on 10 June 2026, clears the way for a Government-to-Government agreement with Portugal, under which Athens will acquire the aircraft through a contract valued at �598 million.
The programme marks the first phase of Greece�s future medium transport aircraft plan. It covers three aircraft, with an option for a further three in a second phase. Deliveries are scheduled between 2027 and 2030, with full implementation of the contract expected within six years.
