Iranian vessels harassed US naval forces in Arabian Gulf, US says
Citat:Eleven Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) vessels repeatedly conducted dangerous and harassing approaches toward several US naval vessels on 15 April in the international waters of the North Arabian Gulf, US Naval Forces Central Command said.
The vessels subjected to the harassment, the USN said, were the Expeditionary Sea Base Lewis B Puller (ESB 3), guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60), Cyclone-class patrol coastal ships USS Firebolt (PC 10) and USS Sirocco (PC 6), and US Coast Guard Island-class patrol boats Wrangell (WPB 1332) and Maui (WPB 1304), Central Command officials said.

Iranci opet prete: biće "nevaljali" ako im se ne ukinu sankcije do kraja oktobra:
"Iranski predsednik izjavio je da ukidanje sankcija uvedenih Iranu predstavlja "očigledno pravo" ove zemlje.
Primedbe Hasana Rohanija predstavljaju odgovor na pritiske SAD, koje su prošlog meseca najavile produženje sankcija Iranu na neodređeni period vremena, iako bi prema rezoluciji Saveta bezbednosti Ujedinjenih nacija to trebalo da se dogodi u oktobru.
U slučaju da sankcije Iranu ipak ne budu ukinute, Rohani je najavio da će preduzeti korake slične onima koji su usledili nakon što su se SAD povukle iz sporazuma o nuklearnom naoružanju, kao što je prekoračenje ograničenja za naoružanje i ubrizgavanje gasa uranijuma u nuklearno postrojenje u zemlji."
