Citat:The 43rd Airborne Regiment today took delivery of the first of 46 Flyer 72 HD vehicles donated to Czechia by the U.S. government.
This number will meet the needs of two commando companies. The Flyer 72, in two versions, will replace the existing Land Rover 130 Kajman vehicles. Ten of the vehicles will be command, and the rest will be in combat version.
There are several of them already delivered. 20 of them are in Czechia and 6 more on the way.

Citat:Canada is updating the procurement strategy for the Light Utility Vehicle project to immediately limit the tender to two Canadian defence industry suppliers, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced.
The Light Utility Vehicle project aims to deliver 1,600-2,100 vehicles and 400-500 light utility trailers for the militarised portion of the Canadian Armed Forces’ fleet. The project will recapitalize the light utility vehicle capability currently provided by the in-service Light Utility Vehicle Wheeled (Mercedes G-Wagon SMP and Chevrolet Silverado MilCOTS) fleets at the end of their useful life.
Under the new procurement strategy, foreign competitors like AM General and Oshkosh Defence will be sidelined in favor of Canadian competitors.
The eligible Canadian competitors for the program include GM Defense Canada (offering Silverado HD-based platforms), Roshel (offering Senator SMP), Armatec Survivability Group, and Terradyne Armoured Vehicles (offering Gurkha)
