Citat:The fifth prototype of Baykar’s KIZILELMA unmanned fighter, PT-5, took off for the aerodynamic system identification test using afterburner for the flight test.
KIZILELMA’s fifth prototype, with slight external changes, used its afterburner in its first announced test. The new prototype has its external pitot tube at the nose swapped out, likely for an internal one. As KIZILELMA is being developed with low observability in mind, it is important to have any instrument concealed for RCS reduction.
