Salvadorski kontigent na Haitiju dobio od amera dva UH-1N

The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador has confirmed the transfer of two Bell UH-1N military helicopters to the Salvadoran contingent deployed in Haiti as part of the Force for the Repression of Gangs (FRG). This initiative aims to strengthen the mission's operational capabilities, particularly in the areas of security and medical evacuation.
According to the official announcement, the aircraft will be used for emergency operations, tactical transport, and logistical support in areas most affected by armed violence. To ensure their effective operation, the United States has also trained ten Salvadoran pilots and four technicians responsible for maintenance throughout the mission.

Trenutno se razvijaju sistemi i komponente:
- Dodatni rezervoar za gorivo,
- Digitalni elektronski sistem,
- Repni deo helikoptera,
- Sistem prenosa snage (transmisija),
- Avionski sistemi (avionska elektronika),
- Klizno podvozje.
Prototip kao i prvi let mašine planirani su za kraj 2026. godine.
