MOSKVA - Ruske vlasti su odlučile da formiraju vazdušno-kosmičke snage u kojima će biti više vidova oružanih snaga, prenosi AP i dodaje da će novom formacijom komandovati komandant vazduhoplovstva general pukovnik Viktor Bondarev.
Vazdušno-kosmičke snage se sastoje od vazduhoplovstva, snaga protiv-vazdušne odbrane i kosmičke vojske u kojoj su protiv-balistički raketni sistemi kao i kompletan svemirski program.
Ministar odbrane Sergej Šojgu je izjavio da je odluka doneta jer je to "optimalni način da se poboljša sistem odbrane zemlje" i zato što su svemirske i vazduhoplovne komponente sve bitnije u savremenom ratovanju.
AP navodi da je reč o programu predsednika Vladimira Putina za modernizaciju ruskih oružanih snaga.
