The Justice Department announced Friday it is continuing to clear the way for expediting federal death-penalty cases, including by expanding the manners of execution to include death by firing squad.
“The prior administration failed in its duty to protect the American people by refusing to pursue and carry out the ultimate punishment against the most dangerous criminals, including terrorists, child murderers, and cop killers,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement Friday. “Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice is once again enforcing the law and standing with victims.”

Za izvrsenje smrtne kazne inekcijom (sto koristi federalna vlada) su potrebni farmaceutski proizvodi. Farmaceutske kuce iz moralnih (i razloga odnosa sa javnoscu), a kod Evropskih i zbog zakonskih prepreka, odbijaju da prodaju potrebne proizvode.
Zbog ovoga vlada mora da pribegne alternativnim metodama nabavke, kao sto su ilegalni kanali ili male proizvodjace koji su se pokazali nepouzdani.
Dalji problem je sto lekerai odbijaju da ucestvuju u procesu, pa se kod nekih osudjenika postji problem pronalaska vene.
Kod streljanja ovi problemi ne postoje. Imaju i dovoljno pusaka i dovoljno muncije i dovoljno obucenih ljudi.
