Francuski Nexter je na IDS 2013 predstavio novi APC 6x6 Titus. Vozilo je proslo testiranja i bice ponudjeno za izvoz.

The vehicle has a combat weight of 23 tonnes, empty weight of 17 tonnes, and growth potential up to a gross weight of 27 tonnes. Titus is powered by a 440 hp engine and is designed to be air-transportable on board the Airbus Military A400M Atlas transport aircraft. For crew comfort, Titus features an internal volume of 14.4m², and in its default configuration accommodates three crew members (driver, gunner, commander) and 10 dismounted soldiers. This can be modulated to two crew members and up to 12 dismounts as required, while the all welded-steel monocoque hull is fitted for full nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) protection.

MoD sources leaked information to local media at the end of September that the Titus outperformed the indigenously designed and manufactured SVOS Vega 4x4 armoured vehicle in ACR trials that incorporated seven parameters, with the former platform scoring 25 points versus 12 scored by the latter.
According to the MoD sources, the Titus, which utilises a 6x6 chassis supplied by Czech truck maker Tatra, is said to be CZK4.5 million cheaper than the Vega and has a superior turning radius and the ability to negotiate steeper terrain.

5 miliona po komadu??? Pa za te pare se dobije nov MBT. Cene oružanih sistema su sve nenormalnije. Pogotovo što 5 godina servisne podrške baš i nije impresivno za tolike novce. Još je vozilo na domaćoj šasiji.

Toni ::Ceska kupuje 62 komada za 303 miliona $( ukljucen PDV). 42 obicna i 20 posebno opremljenih komandnih za navodjenje artiljerije i avijacije, obuka i pet godina servisne podrske.

U biti kupuju 42 komada komandnih i 20 komada za navođenje vatre sve sa logistikom i školovanjem. Predviđena cena 221.211.300 evra + 36.868.550 evra za 5-godišnje održavanje. Predviđena cena znači da će biti na kraju plačena puno niža prema mnogo puta viđenoj praksi.

1,8 miliona po vozilu (cena ako se podeli ukupna cifra sa brojem vozila.). Odprilike koliko su pominjali na Eurosatroy, cena bi trebala da bude 1,1 miliona za obicno vozilo - klasican MRAP za prevoz trupa, a svaka nadogradnja je dranje koze sa ledja!
