NASA je testirala prototip nuklearnog reaktora za misije na Mars i u duboki svemir.
Završetak serije od više od 100 „hladnih“ testova prototipa leta postavlja temelje za razvoj nuklearnog pogonskog sistema za misije van niske Zemljine orbite.
Nuklearni raketni motori koriste nuklearni reaktor za zagrevanje pogonskog goriva (obično vodonika) na visoke temperature, koje se zatim izbacuje kroz mlaznicu, stvarajući potisak. Prednost ovih motora je njihov visok specifični potisak, što značajno smanjuje vreme potrebno za dostizanje drugih planeta.

Malo mi to naivno zvući , nije moja stuka , geografski se može određena lokcija , regija iskljućiti , to se i do sada radilo , ali te regje ruski dronovi uredno preljeću na bazi inercijalnh sustava, a u zoni cileva duboko u ukrajini radi star link, tako da bude više štete po ukrajinu od toga.
