Citat:Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) has delivered the first four Archer 8x8 artillery system to the Swedish Armed Forces.
The delivery ceremony took place at the Villingsberg firing range outside Karlskoga, on August 26. The systems were delivered to the Bergslagen Artillery Regiment and will be used for training. The regiment is expected to receive two more units this fall.

Citat:Sweden is set to sign a €4.3 billion agreement with France for the procurement of four FDI class multi-purpose frigates for the Swedish Navy.
The signing ceremony will take place in Stockholm today and will be attended by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and French President Emmanuel Macron. At the ceremony, Swedish Minister for Defence Pål Jonson and his counterpart Catherine Vautrin will also sign a framework agreement to strengthen Swedish-French cooperation on operational matters, defence capabilities and industrial development.
The four frigates, to be called Luleå class in Swedish Navy service, are expected to be delivered by France's Naval Group in 2030-2034.
The ships will be equipped with several subsystems from Swedish suppliers. These include Torped 47 lightweight torpedo, RBS 15 anti-ship missile system, Giraffe 1X radar and Trackfire Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) from Saab, and 57 mm and 40 mm guns from BAE Systems Bofors.

Citat:Series deliveries of the new single cab, flatbed variant of TGB 24 (Terrängbil 24) 4x4 military vehicle to the Swedish Armed Forces will commence next year, Swedish Defence Materiel Administration
The new variant is also the first to go into production with new Heavy Duty axles, which provide a significantly increased load capacity.
The single cab variant, like the already delivered double cab, comes with a height-adjustable canopy with folding and removable bed flaps. An additional capability of the single cab is the interface to carry a ten-foot ISO container, as well as outlets to power equipment on the bed via the vehicle's generators and batteries. The bed is also reinforced to accommodate weapon systems like a 120mm grenade launcher.
The TGB 24 single cab shares the same drivetrain, driver environment and protection level as the rest of the vehicles in the family, which reduces the need for driver training and spare parts at the Armed Forces. More variants of the TGB 24 are under development, including command and medical vehicles, as well as two new flatbed variants with an extra axle and six-wheel drive.
TGB 24 (Terrängbil 24, Terrain Vehicle 24) is being built by Finnish manufacturer Sisu Auto based on its Sisu GTP platform. In 2025, the Swedish Armed Forces received the first TGB 24 vehicles, a troop transport vehicle and a flatbed truck with a double cab, and the service started the training of instructors, drivers and workshop personnel on these vehicles.

Eksplozija na vojnom strelištu u Švedskoj: 7 povređenih, 5 na intenzivnoj nezi
Citat:Sedam pripadnika švedskih Oružanih snaga povređeno je u incidentu na vojnom strelištu Kråks, u blizini grada Karlsborga na jugozapadu Švedske.
Incident se dogodio u četvrtak nešto posle 16 časova, a hitne službe su prvobitno dobile dojavu o eksploziji. Sedmoro povređenih prebačeno je u bolnicu Skaraborg u gradu Ševde, od kojih je jedna osoba transportovana helikopterom.
