Ova letelica je bila aktuelna 80-ih godina proslog veka. Trebala je da bude naslednik/zamena za lovac-presretac MiG-31, medjutim posto se Rusija odlucila za MiG-31BM ovaj projekat najverovatnije nece zaziveti.
Ne postoje sigurni dokazi da je ovaj projekat prekinut, mada koliko znam nije napravljen nijedan ovakav avion...

Da ova tema ne ostane samo na jednom ( prvom i poslednjem postu ) cisto da se podsetimo ovog izuzetong projekta .Od njega po svemu sudeci nema nista niti je bilo nesto konkretno proteklih 20-tak godina izgleda .Bio i ostao samo projekat onako na papiru ali ipak itekako vredan paznje .

Projekat je nosio naziv MDP ( akronim od visenamenski presretac daljeg dejstva ) 70.1 ( mada se pominje i kao 701 verovatno greskom ) konstr-og. biroa OKB MiG

Negde cemo naci i 7.01 ali je i to netacno ,uglavnom proizvod nedovoljno obavestenih zapadnjaka sto potvrdjuje ovaj text

Project 701
The Project 7.01 (Project 701), a heavy and stealthy interceptor intended as a replacement of MiG-31 and MiG-31M, was cancelled in the mid-1980s in favor of the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker. It is speculated that both the "MiG-39" 1.42 and much larger 7.01 had similar origins derived from a MiG-31 Foxhound based canard-delta platform.

Ovo `visenamenski` u nazivu je cini se dobio zbog objedinjavanja ideja 2 OKB i to Suhoj ( projekat T-60S daljnji bombardirovsik ) i MiG ( pomenuti projekat presretaca velikog dometa ),zbog cega je sam projekat postao MDP a potencijalni lovac dobio dvostruku namenu .

Skica koja pokazuje UBS ( V-Z) ,impozantno deluje sa ukrcanih 8x KAB-1500 i jos 4x rak. V-V



Poredjenje sa predhodnim presretacima OKB MiG



Projekat je zahvaljujuci raspadu SSSR i situaciji koja je kasnije nastala okoncan 1993g.

Zanimljivo je da je te godine nastao projekat 70.1P kao supersonicni interkontinentalni poslovni avion

Ružan... ali interesantne koncepcije.

Moram da dodam i citat:

Jos neke pojedinosti o M-50

Citat:M-50 NATO code name 'Bounder' , designed as a long range intercontinental nuclear bomber the M-50 first flew in October of 1959 and was heralded as the new wave of Soviet jet bomber technology.Sadly it never met it's design promise as though the design was sound enough, in fact very cutting edge with all powered control surfaces, all moving tail and satilators, advanced air con system , advanced auto guidance system,huge weapons capability etc, the engines of the time just weren't up to the job and the M50 refused to go supersonic in level flight, ( though it was very close !).The design engines were just round the corner built by the Zubets company and were the most powerful in the world, but due to development problems the M50 ended up with the same engines as the TU-22 Blinder, the Dobrynin VD-7'S and only the inboard pair were fitted with afterburners!! So lots of smoke and indescribable noise was the order of the day. Only one M50 was finished and that now lives at the Monino air museum near Moscow, an amazing sight, still very futuristic , had it had the right engines who knows what might have been !!
The proposed production bomber was to be called the M52 and have a slightly redesigned shape with of course those Zubets engines !!.

Pa nije vise kad smo ga otkrili . Razz Ipak je on ostao samo na nivou prototipova i mozda se dugo i nije znalo za njega .
