Seemingly militants shot down an Italy-origin Agusta-Bell AB 412 helicopter armed with Soviet 57mm UB-16-57U Rocket Pod belonging to Burundi Air Forces.

AS has released photos of the crashed AUSSOM helicopter, which went down yesterday during an evacuation mission from the Hawadley camp. The camp is now fully under AS control, while Somali gov forces and their foreign allies have relocated to nearby bases.
After reports emerged of ATMIS forces vacating their FOB in Hawadley, nearby AS fighters launched an assault as troops were preparing to withdraw. Early reports indicate a Burundian forces helicopter crashed near Hawadley. The base is now reportedly under AS control.
