The raid triggered two to four hours of close-quarters clashes inside fortified caves, including engagements with foreign fighters from Syria, Turkey, and Ethiopia. By sunrise, U.S. and PCTF forces had withdrawn with no reported American casualties.

Early results indicate a senior ISIS-Somalia commander and several aides were killed, along with a total of 5 to 10 terrorists. Forces also destroyed weapons caches and equipment used for gold-mining operations that funded the group.

Израел постаје прва држава која званично признаје назависни Сомалиленд. Наводно ће се за узврат тамо преселити део становништва Газе. А с обзиром да је Сомалиленд преко пута Јемена могуће да хоће базу за случај даљих сукоба са Хутима.

Сигурно их нису признали без разлога. Који су разлози видећемо. Што се базе тиче то је нагађање али је логично јер су Хути ту близу. Сомалиленд је већ договорио са Етиопијом да им изнајме луку, а ево нуде и САД-у мада их ови исмевају. У Џибутију сви имају базе. У Порт Судану би требало да буде руска. Сад се и ови нуде. Изгледа ће Црвено море бити много занимљиво у наредним годинама.
