Citat:Last night, a major operation was conducted by the Al-Qassam Brigades (armed wing of Hamas) against IDF troops from the 933rd "Nahal" Brigade, in the city of Beit Hanoun, northeastern Gaza.

Reports suggest that the attack was coordinated between multiple cells, resulting in at least 6 deaths and 20 injuries among IDF soldiers. First, an IED hit an Israeli Merkava Tank. A rescue team was deployed, which was struck by a second IED. A second rescue team then came to aid the first team and was also targeted. A 4th IED was then detonated, before small-arms fire targeted the wounded soldiers.

The area in which the attacks took place was in the far north of Beit Hanoun, near the border with Israel. This area is part of a large region that Israel has previously claimed to have completely cleared.

The photo reportedly shows the moment Netanyahu was briefed on the event, who - at the time - was meeting with U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

According to an initial probe by the Israel Defense Force, several terrorists emerged from a tunnel and attacked a patrol near Khan Yunis on Wednesday. During the attack, the gunmen reportedly attempted to drag Master Sgt. Azulay, who was operating an excavator, back into the tunnel, with him being shot and killed in the struggle, before the attackers were ran-off and his body recovered by Israeli Forces.

Poginula tri vojnika IDF...izgleda mi da je to bila posada Merkave

Svi ovde poginuli izraelski vojnici su izuzetno mladi, neki od njih nisu ni bili punoletni kad se desio napad Hamasa.
Čudno mi je da je posada tenka tako mlada uključujući komandira koji je podoficir sa 21 godinom života.
Da li je ovo redovna vojska ili su na odsluženju vojnog roka?
