Sweden launches future military pilot training contest
Citat:Sweden has initiated a process to replace its air force’s fleet of Saab 105 (SK 60) jet trainers with a new Military Flying Training System (MFTS), planned for introduction by the end of this decade.
In a request for information (RFI) published by the nation’s Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) on 29 April, Stockholm asks for responses from potential suppliers of a basic and advanced training capability to remain in use until at least 2040.

SAAB SIGNS SK60 SUPPORT AGREEMENT WITH FMV
Citat:Defence and security company Saab has today extended its support and maintenance agreement with FMV for the SK60 trainer aircraft of the Swedish Armed Forces. The contract will be in place for three years starting on 1 July 2017. The order value amounts to SEK400 million.
The extended support agreement means that Saab continues its leading role as the provider of training aircraft flight services for the Swedish Armed Forces. Saab maintains full responsibility for Sweden’s fleet of SK60 aircraft by delivering all required flight operations, maintenance and the provision of stand-by capacity to the Armed Forces.

Kod LIFT mlaznih aviona sa usporednim položajem pilota i kopilota i zato širem trupu, po meni više pasuje jednomotorna izvedba, jer se i veči motor jednostavnije upasuje u širi trup.
