Kako je moguce da ljudi koji provede citav zivot u mornarici nisu svesni posledica ukljucenja Starlinka na brod . Zna se da na brodovima je zabranjeno koristiti i cak licne usb stickove a ne nesto vece. Ova je samo demotovana u nizi rang, u nekim drugim vremenima citav Officer mess a bogami i CO bi letjeli doma.

Citat:The U.S. Navy’s Zumwalt-class destroyers are now 24 months behind schedule in gaining the Conventional Prompt Strike hypersonic missile, delaying the fleet’s first surface-launched hypersonic strike capability. A Government Accountability Office report published on July 17, 2026, says the first ship-based flight test has slipped to the third quarter of fiscal year 2027, pushing back certification, crew qualification, and operational deployment.

USS Zumwalt was 94 percent through modernization in January 2026, but the three-ship conversion effort has risen from $1.8 billion to at least $2 billion. With only three destroyers in the class, any delay removes a third of the planned force and makes it harder to sustain a cycle of deployment, training, and maintenance.

Citat:Latest images of the U.S. Navy’s guided-missile destroyer USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) after its hypersonic weapons upgrade reveal several major external modifications:

① The forward 155mm AGS turret has been removed and replaced with a four launch tubes along with a new wave-deflector structure.

② The No.2 AGS gun turret has also been removed, leaving only the stealth gun housing.

③ A new mounting base has been added for the FLIR 380HD electro-optical/infrared sensor system.

④ The gas turbine air intakes have been relocated lower to prevent ingestion of exhaust gases from the ship’s funnels.

USS Zumwalt is scheduled to officially return to service in September this year. The modernization program began in 2023 and is currently about 10 months behind schedule.

The ship is expected to conduct the first test launch of the baseline Intermediate-Range CPS (IR CPS)hypersonic missile system by June 2027. An enhanced version of the IR CPS, featuring anti-ship capability, is planned for testing before September 2030.
