Information about Yugoslavian EW assets and Air defence units during 1999 war with US/EU

Hope this topic is not considered as a forum rules violation.
I need help about some sources (forums, books, people), which could help me about some particular info about actions and positions of Yugoslavian army air defense and EW (VOJIN) units.

I am searching info about some misfired AGM-88 HARM missiles, which fall down in neighbor countries (Hungary, Bulgaria etc.) and the reason about that.

So my first question is about 28.04.1999 - 29.04.1999 and this area:




Was there positioned any military radar at any type? (This day a plane, possibly US AF or US NaVY shot a missile, which fell in suburbs of Bulgarian capital of Sofia).

Any help will be appreciated...

Well generally Bosnian war didn't happened on this forum. To many people are getting offended. That about unusually rules.

Those HARM missiles had tendency to lock into cell phone towers. The small ones at least. I know that theoretically they shouldn't, but practically they did.

VOJIN stands for aerial reconnaissance and guidance. Same function as AWACS. It is not EW unit.

In this particular case, it could be a NAVY plane.... Anyway, dedicated forums of some of the air units, which participated in bombings against Serbia are tricky to find....

There was one regiment of SAM protecting Nis. They must shot those HARM in that direction expecting that radars will be turned on. As radar stayed silent, HARM continue it's journey into neighboring Bulgaria.

Just for the record, this particular image which Piston posted was made by CBRN defense unit (ABHO) of Yugoslav Army after NATO attack on radar position on 29.5.1999. It shows size of radiologically Contaminated Zone (KoнЗ).
Numbers below shows detected levels of radiation in Becquerels per Kg, and amount of times how much those levels are higher then normal.

Some of the things are still considered as military secrets because Serbian Army is successor of Yugoslavian Army, and that kind of information no one will share on this forum.
