Citat:The Spanish ministries of defense and interior have ordered 36 Airbus H135 helicopters, 18 of which will be going to the country’s armed forces.
As the Spanish Army already operates a fleet of 16 H135 helicopters, the additional 18 airframes will be divided between the air force and navy.
Deliveries of the first H135s to the services will start next year, according to Airbus.

In total, the Armada will receive seven H135s with deliveries planned between October 2023 and October 2025. They will replace the Hughes H369M Cayuse currently operated by Essla 006. On 14 February 2023, the Official Gazette of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) published Resolution 600/02549/23 of the Admiral Chief of Staff of the Navy, on the creation of a new unit, 12 escuadrilla (Eslla 012).

Citat:On 9 May 2023, Airbus Helicopters delivered the first H135 to the Ejército del Aire y del Espacio (EdA, Spanish Air and Space Force). The H135s will be operated by Ala 78 at Granada/Armilla.
According to Airbus Helicopters, the H135 was delivered six months ahead of schedule and will facilitate crew training with Ala 78.
