Trump signed an Executive Order earlier today, sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC) for what the White House called “Illegitimate and Baseless Actions targeting America and our Closest-Ally, Israel.” According to the Order, the Sanctions could include blocking the purchase of Property or Assets, and barring ICC Officials and their Families from entering the United States. The Order is likely in response to Arrest Warrants that were issued last November by the ICC, for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Senior Israeli Officials who were accused of War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity for the ongoing War in Gaza, this is despite Israel not being a Member of the International Criminal Court.

U.S. Considering Tariffs of Up to 50% on Canadian Steel and Aluminum
Citat:The U.S. is weighing the possibility of imposing tariffs of up to 50% on Canadian steel and aluminum, according to a White House official. If enacted, these tariffs would be added to existing duties on Canadian goods, bringing the total increase to 25%.
Currently, Washington is threatening two key measures: a global 25% tariff on steel and aluminum starting March 12 and the potential reintroduction of a 25% tariff on all Canadian and Mexican imports after March 4.
“If the previously suspended tariffs are reinstated, they will be cumulative, reaching 50%,” the official stated.
