Philippines to Acquire Indian BrahMos Supersonic Cruise Missile
Citat:The Philippines is set to acquire the BrahMos shore-based anti-ship cruise missile system and other military equipment from India after receiving a long-awaited budget to bolster the country’s maritime defenses.
Two special allotment release orders (SARO) worth 1.3 billion pesos ($25.4 million) and 1.5 billion pesos ($29.3 million) were recently issued by the Department of Budget Management reportedly for the purchase of Indian BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles.
According to a report by Philippine media outlet INQUIRER.net, the expected acquisition of the anti-ship missile system would be under a “government-to-government” contract.

Tajvanci razvijaju svoju raketu
Taiwan to develop air-launched variant of HF-3 supersonic anti-ship missile
Citat:The weapon will be carried by the indigenous IDF fighter and around $314 million has been allocated for the project which will be called Hsiung Chih. This will be Taiwan’s first anti-ship missile that can be fired from land, sea and air.
While the missile will be externally the same as the ship-borne variant, it will undergo weight reductions so that it can be within 950kg. This will place a limit on the amount of fuel and reduce the range to 120km.
Development is expected to take five years and a small number will be produced after the missile clears its initial test flights.
