The agreement was announced during The Royal International Air Tattoo airshow, held at RAF Fairford from 15–17 July 2022. Draken Europe’s L-159E eight-aircraft fleet will soon begin flying as the “adversary/aggresor“ of the best pilots of the British Armed Forces to start implementing a recently signed agreement between Draken Europe and the RAF.

Americka mornarica potpisala ugovor sa ATAC
ATAC to perform chase flights
Citat:Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. announced on 10 August 2022 that it has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Navy to provide chase flight services for the F-35 program.

ATAC will provide three Mirage F1 aircraft for approximately 600 flight hours per year from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth (TX). Flight operations are expected to commence late in 2022 or in early 2023.

ATAC crews will support new F-35 aircraft during their first flights, along with product assurance flights. Mirage F1s will be used to fly specific profiles and provide airspace clearance and aircraft systems checks.

Citat:Recently the well-known Red Air provider Air USA has adopted a new name, RAVN Aerospace. Since the name change a number of aircraft in their fleet has already been adorned with the name ‘Raven’ and a logo that depicts this bird.
The company provides ADAIR (Adversary Air), CAS (Close Air Support) and JTAC (Joint Terminal Air Controller) as well as ISR (Intel, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) Training.
This variety of tasks is fulfilled with various aircraft types that can be chosen for a specific goal. According to RAVN, using an aircraft type dedicated to a specific task can bring substantial financial advantage for customers.
The fleet currently comprises six Aero L-39s in various subtypes, an impressive line-up of (former South Korean) British Aerospace Hawk Mk67s, and a MiG-29UB is used for supersonic missions.
Five former Royal Australian Air Force Pilatus PC-9/A trainers are mostly used for JTAC training.
RAVN is also in the process of receiving a number of (some sources state a total of seventeen) Cessna T337H Turbo Skymasters. These used to be employed by AirScan Inc. and operated even during activities over Iraq and Afghanistan.
Currently only one Ce337 is registered on RAVN in the FAA register. The ‘Push-Pulls’ will be used for ISR training.
