svajcarski politicari (pregovaraci) zaduzeni za taj program su umislili da je cena fixna. to su govorili uvek svima, i ma koliko im i amerikanci i ostale drzave koje su kupovale ovaj avion govorile da nije tako, oni su se drzali toga. tvdroglavo i bezobrazno, ne slusajuci nikoga. i amerikanci su to rekli jos 2021.

On 9 December 2025, Schweizer Luftwaffe (Swiss Air Force) Fliegerstaffel 17 was disbanded at Payerne Air Base during a ceremony attended by relatively few people due to intense fog.

Instead of a final flight and flypast, the ceremony remained on the ground and featured an 'elephant walk' involving nine F/A-18C/D Hornet fighter aircraft. An elephant walk is a mass taxiing of military aircraft in close formation.
The formation consisted of F/A-18C Hornets J-5002, J-5004, J-5007, J-5012, J-5013, J-5017, supplemented by F/A-18D Hornets J-5234 and J-5236.

Jos dogovora oko nabavke F-35
Citat: Swiss defence procurement agency, armasuisse and Lockheed Martin have finalized additional offset projects as part of Switzerland's F-35A procurement programme.

According to a statement from the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), these new projects will strengthen security-relevant key technologies, industrial capabilities and Switzerland’s resilience.

The statement added that offset transactions amounting to around 73% of the contract value is anticipated to be achieved, instead of the required 60%.
As of June 30, $1.03 billion worth of offset transactions are credited to Lockheed Martin in connection with the F-35A procurement and are listed in the offset register. This corresponds to around one-third of the total offset obligations of around $3 billion (60% of the contract value).
