Izrael prodaje na rate kompleks Barak MX

Kupac je Kolumbija, koja je nedavno kupila lovce po „dvostrukoj“ ceni.

Kolumbijsko vazduhoplovstvo je 30. decembra 2022. dogovorilo sa izraelskom odbrambenom korporacijom Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) nabavku sistema za protivvazduhoplovnu i protivraketnu odbranu Barak MX. Cena ugovora je 131,2 miliona dolara, rok za izradu sistema PVO i plaćanje isporučenih sistema je do septembra 2026. godine. Tačan broj lansera i projektila koje je naručila Kolumbija se ne otkriva, piše portal Infodefens.

Barak MX je poboljšana verzija izraelskog PVO sistema Barak 8, koji se takođe nudi za izvoz. Napominje se da se baterija Barak MX sastoji od mobilnog komandnog mesta, radara i četiri lansera sa po 8 projektila. Takav sistem PVO može da obara ciljeve na udaljenosti do 30 km, 70 km ili 150 km (u zavisnosti od zahteva operatera), a na visini do 16 km.
