Kao sto se vidi i kod SR i MR svaka baterija ima 6 lansirnih uredjaja. Svaka baterija i kod MR i SR moze komunicirati i deliti podatke jedna izmedju druge na daljinama do 100 km a unutar same baterije lansirna vozila mogu biti rasporedjena svako do 10 km od komandnog vozila.

Spyder SR je sistem kratkog dometa. Kod Spyder SR imate kao sto se gore vidi, komandno vozilo i radar u jednom, vozilo za pretovar raketa, servisno vozilo i lansere sa po 4 rakete. U svaki kontejner moze stati Python 5 ili Derby( obicno po 2 od oba) i kod verzije SR su te rakete bez bustera.

Spyder MR je sistem srednjeg dometa. Kod Spyder MR imate posebno radar i posebno komandno vozilo i isto servisno vozilo i vozilo za pretovar. Razlika kod lansirnih vozila je da su kontejneri sa 8 umesto sa 4 rakete i da su kod MR rakete sa busterom. Glavno oruzje za MR je Derby ali i ovde se mogu puniti kontejneri i sa Python 5.

Spyder( SR ?) ce navodno biti odabran za indijski SRSAM tender. Bili su bolji od svedskog( Bamse ? ) i ruskog predstavnika ( Tor ili Pantsir ? ) na testiranjima. Indija vec od ranije ima Spyder.

Citat:Following a nine-year wait, both the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Army (IA) are now poised to replace their existing inventories of OSA-AKM and ZRK-BD Strela-10M SHORADS with the RAFAEL of Israel’s Spyder-SR system. The IAF refers to the Spyder-SR as a low-level quick reaction missile (LL-QRM), while the Army calls it quick-reaction surface-to-air missile (QR-SAM). However, the deliveries could not begin due to a last-minute decision by both the IAF and IA to use high-mobility trucks supplied by TATA Motors, instead of the BEML-supplied TATRA high-mobility trucks.

The IA had received the green light to procure four regiments of the Spyder-SR in August 2009, and a $900 million contract was inked later that year.
