Pravi borbeni uslovi pokazuju sta je i kakvo je oruzije !!!!!! moze do sutra da se prica i o njoj i o nasoj M-21-jedinici ali dok neprodje pravo bojiste nista se nezna.Lepa precizna lagana,ali sta trpi na pravo bojistu !To su tek svilene pticice naspram M-70 koje treba da se dokazu ! Sta bi reko moj poznanik koji je proso ratista na balkanu sirom i popreko za M-70 posle citavog dana pucnjave iz nje,ispaljenih bezbroj metaka nema da te izda !

pitanje
zasto se sada ugl prave puske sa sanzerima nazad ispod kundaka i to.

Glavni razlog je da se dobije što manja ukupna dužina puške a da se zadrži cev punog formata za izabrani kalibar. Ponajviše zbog dejstva sa istom puškom kako na otvorenom terenu tako i u zatvorenom prostoru (zgrade, kuće i slično). Kraću pušku u istom kalibru i sa istom dužinom cevi je lakše koristiti u skučenom prostoru.

Može jedno pitanje za stručnjake za vatreno oružje?

Na military photos forumu neki čovjek na temelju ovog dokumenta tvrdi da VHS puška radi na principu SCAR-a. Zanima me da li netko to može potvrditi. Prenosim dio teksta:

Citat:According to the documents deposited at the European Patent Office VHS works neither throught AK47 long stroke piston system (end of forties), nor trought m-16 direct gas impingments (end of sixties), nor throught the short stroke system of end of the last century G-36, but instead throught the most modern one: the 'tappet' type of closed gas system used by the SCAR!

Drawing 3 shows the front sight ramp and hood 7 that has a bore hole on the lower side by which it holds to the barrel 2 and is fixed with the front sight and hood pins 21. In the middle of it there is a bore hole that serves as a cylinder and fills with gas through the bore hole on the barrel 2 and through the gas regulator 150. The bore hole houses the gas piston 12 which is a two-diameter. Its rear end is of a greater diameter and operates in the moment of unlocking - by its rear end it presses the gas piston spring support ring 14 and the spring with its mechanism opens the rifle and ejects the cartridge case. With the front part of the gas piston 12 which has a smaller diameter, at the move of several millimeters of the piston's 12 travel achieved by the impact of the gas on the surface of the piston's bigger diameter at the rear side, the surface on the front side of the gas piston 12 which has a smaller diameter opens up so the gas piston 12 operates with its complete surface and the pressure of the gas caught in it. The small hole on the front sight ramp and hood 7 in front of the gas piston 12 is used to reduce the pressure and throwing soot out. The gas piston 12 returns to the starting position by the gas piston spring 93.

VHS ica je bila na testiranju kod majstora iz časopisa guns&ammo. Nažalost nemam taj članak, ali prema pisanju sa drugog foruma je dobila entuzijastične ocijene od ljudi koji su je testirali.

...When moving the bolt carrier 3, and with it all the connected parts are moved, the recoil spring 97 is pulled and compressed and the air between the spring 97 and the bolt carrier tube 10 is pushed through the spring and the hole on front side of the bolt carrier tube 10 thus cooling rapidly the other parts of the rifle.
With the opening and closing of the bolt carrier 3, fresh air is sucked in and blown out thus cooling intensively the other parts of the rifle...

...Drawing 5 shows the stock 85 which contains the recoil buffer 113 that turns round the recoil buffer pin 114. When the bolt carrier 3 is hit, the recoil buffer 113 moves round the turning point of the recoil buffer pin's 114 so the bolt carrier 3 loses kinetic energy and slows down its motion. In addition, it hits the recoil buffer spring 115 which stop the moving of the bolt carrier 3 completely. When the bolt carrier 3 returns to the front position pushed by the recoil spring 97, Drawing 3, and the recoil buffer spring 115 at the beginning of the return of the bolt carrier 3 initiates the return of the bolt carrier 3 , the recoil buffer spring 115 - when the bolt carrier 3 moves to the back position - compresses into a spirally corrugated conical hole slowing down its compression and opening and this attenuates the hit of the bolt carrier 3 and its start in the front position. In this way, the number of rounds fired per minute and the recoils of the rifle are reduced.

Some hint of it can in on my opinion be seen in the same test of the two patents:
First one is quite schematic, pointing on the "soft opening" system, the radical spare of weight and the possibilities of mounting a lot of accessories.

The latter goes more in depht and say way more things.
A special attention is given however to all those details that deals with avoiding malfunctions, overheating and expecially gunpowder soot. DGI.

Evidently in this case, they are talking instead of a weapon that has passed a lot of field test in order to avoid problems emerged in a precedent specimen.

On the other hand they also put in spotlight these details like the cocking lever that doesn't move together with bolt, the possibility of " put on safety and take off safety without letting the grip go", "to switch to automatic or single fire and to put down the bolt after changing a frame or a drum" or also "The strap buckles are designed as a closed ring so the rifle can be easily manipulated with in fight".
Here you can see the hands of real operatives pointing to what is really needed in a real combat.

The first patent at the contrary seems me the result a very "brilliant" engineering and inventor's work, with a single solution that intend to decisively resolve a lot of problems, obviously if it would have worked!

In the end the final result is maybe also better, as original project's specifications are dealt the same, only in a different manner( there is a dedicated, reliable solution for each one instead of an "jack of all trades" that pretend to solve every issue) and in the meantime new features (one for all: forced air cooling) were added at the project.

Only loss in process was the final weight of the weapon itself, but it is understandable:

"Soft opening" effectively reduces weights as it allow to adopt an even lighter frame in an intrinsecally weight-reducing operating sistem like DGI.
Adopting a mechanical recoil buffer means instead to add still more weight to a intrinsecally heavier mechanism.

Not such a fuss on my opinion, as the trade off is more reliability and endurance.
