Australija se pominje kao prvi kupac. Isporuka bi bila tokom 2033.

Australia will receive its first batch of JATM missiles in the third quarter of 2033 which tracks with current production timelines for JATM. The delivery timeline is also based on the traditional balancing of U.S. inventory requirements with foreign exports of defense materials.

The estimated total cost is $3.16 billion.

Аустралији је одобрена набавка 450 ракета AIM-260 у оквиру уговора вредног 2,61 милијарду долара, не рачунајући додатне стотине милиона за пратећу подршку. То значи да једна ракета кошта око 5,8 милиона долара, уз додатне трошкове одржавања....

The US Navy has requested $558 Million taking the overall FY-2027 JATM procurement funding to nearly $1.2 Billion. This figure doubles to more than $2.6 Billion in FY 2028 and $3.3 Billion in FY 2029. The USAF plans to spend $8.2 Billion on AIM-260 JATM procurement through FY-2031 while the Navy plans to spend nearly $6 Billion over the same period.

Fascinantna nova raketa koja je, čini se, u poodmaklom stupnju razvoja. Izgleda da i serijska (ili bar predserijska) proizvodnja počinje veoma uskoro.

Sve OK, ali jedno mi ne ide u glavu. Zašto se onda ove godine naručuju masivne zalihe Aim-120 za USA (preko 1800 komada) i UAE (400 komada) i mnoge druge zemlje u stotinama... To je skoro 4x više Aim-120 za 2027 nego za 2026 samo za USAF!! . Nije da su se natrošili AMRAAM raketa kao što jesu PVO raketa... mislim, nije da im fali.

Gde planiraju tolike nove Aim-120 da koriste u naredih nekoliko godina plus sve stare, kad su Aim-260 na pragu ??? Ja mislim da generalno najmanje troše Aim-120 današnjim ratovima jer se kao i uvek bore protiv zemalja bez ozbiljnih eskadrila, a dronove skidaju sa Aim-9.
Nešto mi tu ne štima, i pomalo brine...

Nece AIM-260 jos u vecem broju niti ce je dobiti svi, prvo uzi krug. Do skora AIM-120 D nisu dobijali. Sada bi svi da dodju do D3 plus povecanje inventara.

AIM-120 D3 verzija ce jos godinama biti glavna kao nabavljene C-8.
