Brazilian Army modernizes individual tactical equipment to enhance troop operational readiness
Citat:The Brazilian Army’s Logistics Command, through the Supply Commission, has announced an upgrade to the technical specifications of key individual tactical equipment under its responsibility. This initiative is part of the Brazilian Combatant System Project (COBRA), to provide greater lethality, protection, and enhanced C2 & ISR capabilities (Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) to individual soldiers at the sub-unit level. The COBRA Project is linked to the Army’s Strategic Program for Achieving Full Operational Capability. The modernization effort also supports the Future Combatant Subprogram, part of the Army’s Strategic Program Integrated Border Monitoring System (SISFRON).

Standardized Kit for Modern Warfare
The Brazilian Combatant System Project (COBRA) seeks to integrate cutting-edge technologies into a standardized kit tailored to meet the operational demands of the modern battlefield. The new equipment, developed based on requirements set by the Army’s Land Operations Command, is designed to improve troop efficiency, comfort, and safety. The upgraded items are expected to be available in the supply chain starting in 2025.
