This is consistent with US FY2025 budget docs showing FMS deliveries of 236 LWCLU Jan to June 2026, and another 150 over in 2027. UK authorization (aug 2022) is for 513 total.
New missiles (600 Javelin F, authorized in 2023) are coming in two tranches, in 2027 and 2028.

British Military Pilots Sue UK Govt Over Carcinogenic Helicopter Exhaust

Over 40 retired and serving crew members from all three services say they have been diagnosed with cancer, including lung, testicular, and throat cancer, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, The Times revealed.
Exhaust from the helicopters’ engines emit benzene, a carcinogenic chemical.
At least three former crew members have died of cancer, their lawyers alleged.

UK plans to procure VAMTAC air-defence vehicles to replace Stormers donated to Ukraine

The procurement, which has to be approved by parliament, will replace the six Stormers donated to Ukraine in 2023 and an additional six VAMTAC air-defence vehicles will be procured for a total of 12.

Britain orders ‘significant’ amount of multirole missiles
Citat:The Ministry of DefenCe has announced a significant order of Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMM) from Thales UK.

The £176 million contract aims to boost short-range air defence capabilities for the British Army and the Royal Navy, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The LMMs, weighing just 13kg each, are designed to target drones, helicopters, other aircraft, and small, fast maritime threats. They will be deployed on platforms such as the Stormer combat vehicles for the Army and the Royal Navy’s Martlet maritime anti-surface missile system on Wildcat helicopters.

Nema veze što im je pola flote nuklearnih podmornica na vezu, jer ne uspevaju da ih održavaju, sada briti nameravaju da naruče površinska plovila sa nuklearnim pogonom. Naime, izdat je Zahtev za informacije sa rokom za odgovor do 8.10.2024. u kome se od zainteresovanih partnera traže informacije o reaktorima 4. generacije, njihovim performansama, bezbednosti i mogućnosti da se ugrade u postojeće dizajne ratnih brodova.
