This year, the exercise was expanded to include Japan’s first-ever joint airborne drop with the UK on Japanese soil, as well as the participation of the Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, thus enhancing operational capabilities for amphibious landing operations. In addition, we promoted mutual understanding and trust among Japan and European nations, including the United Kingdom, through this exercise.

Citat:The UK has decided to restructure its army’s Land Mobility Programme by switching out the Medium Protected Mobility (MPM) category for a Heavy Protected Mobility (HPM) one instead.
The change shifts the focus of the category from finding a replacement for the Mastiff, Wolfhound and Ridgeback MRAPs to primarily replacing the FV430 Bulldog series of armoured vehicles.

The UK has signed a £52 million contract with Germany for state-of-the-art military artillery

The deal means the UK will receive a cutting-edge Early Capability Demonstrator (ECD) platform of the RCH 155, with two more going to Germany for joint testing.
