Turkish Navy adds 2 maritime patrol aircraft to its fleet
Citat:The Turkish defense industry has delivered two more maritime patrol aircraft developed with a high contribution of domestic production to the Navy, head of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) said.
Ismail Demir made the statement late Thursday via his Twitter account, informing that the two P-72 maritime patrol aircraft developed under the Meltem-3 project were delivered to the Naval Forces Command (DzKK).

Speaking to SavunmaSanayiST.com, Director Gürcan Okumus said that the institute is currently working on a Ramjet missile project, and its engine will be unveiled this year.
“We will reveal the first working engine this year in the Ramjet project and it will raise technological readiness level,” he explained. He added that the institute is also working on a Scramjet project at an early “conceptual” stage.
