There is the prototype of AW-149 during the presentation over and near Lublin in Poland. That type of heli starts with Blackhawk, Merlin, NH-90 and Mi-17 in auction for new 26 helicopters for Polish Army and Polish Navy (15 transport and 4 Combat SAR version for Army, 4 ASW, 3 SAR for Navy).

AgustaWestland announced the launch of the new AW149 Multirole Helicopter in June 2006 at the Farnborough Airshow.
The AW149 is a 7t to 8t class multi-role helicopters for military and paramilitary. The helicopter will have a maximum cruise speed of 296 kmh (165kt) and a high hover ceiling of 8,000 meters or less all the weight up. The AW149 will take up to 16 soldiers and have a range of over 920 km.
