Citat:The Czech Republic Air Force (Vzdušné Sily Armády Ceské Republiky: VzS AČR) has received back into the service the last of 16 L-159A ALCA light attack and air-defence aircraft to be overhauled and upgraded by Aero Vodochody.

The manufacturer announced the milestone on 19 January, saying that the single-engined jets had all completed a two-year refurbishment and modernisation process, with the final aircraft delivered back to the 21st Tactical Air Force Base at Caslav.

Aero Vodochody Delivers Last L-159T1 ALCA Light Combat Aircraft to Iraqi Air Force
Citat:A L-159 aircraft has left Aero for Iraq after undergoing an overhaul under the Iraqi L-159 after-sales support contract. The aircraft joins 11 other L-159s flown from Aero to Iraq between 2015 and 2018. The transfer aircraft, fuselage number IQAF-5901, was produced as one of the last L-159s in 2003. Four years later, it underwent a conversion to the two-seat L-159T1 design. In 2015, it became one of four L-159s released directly from the Czech Air Force’s in-service fleet in order to rapidly strengthen the Iraqi Air Force (IQAF). It was used to train Iraqi pilots on the territory of the Czech Republic after maintenance was performed at Aero and handed over to the IQAF in 2015. In this role, its intermediate repair resource was exhausted, followed by an overhaul performed at Aero under an aftermarket support contract for the Iraqi L-159 fleet. Aircraft manufactured or repaired at Aero are delivered to customers in shipping containers, aboard transport aircraft, or flown to their destinations, as in the case of Iraq.

Chief of the General Staff Řehka confirmed that the main role of the L-159 in the AČR is no longer combat, but training. He also stated that any drone shot down by an L-159 over Ukraine will not reach Czechia.
