A.R.Chafee.Jr. ::Sikorski još nije pokazao letelicu za ovaj deo konkursa. SB 1 je konkurent Belovom Valoru, ili ti zamenu za Balck Hawk. Videćemo, šta će za ovo da Sikorski, mada mu je partner Boing pokazao onog Blok 2 Apača.
Imamo ovaj FVL Light kao sličicu, još uvek.

Tog FVL Light čekamo u 3D, AVX i Karem su ispali iz trke.
Program Future Vertical Lift (FVL) treba da uvde pet helikopterastih letelica do sredine veka.
Kategorije su:
- Laki za Kijovu
- Srednji laki za Lakotu
- Srednji za Apača i Jastreba
- Teški za Činuka
- Ultra nova klasa koja treba da izbaci helikopter dimenzija Herkulesa.

The Boeing FARA helicopter has tandem seats and a streamlined fuselage to allow for high-speed flight. It has one air intake scoop on its right side.
The rendering shows a helicopter with weapons pylons on each side. Presumably, the pylons fold down, storing weapons internally, in high-speed forward flight to reduce aerodynamic drag.
The nose of the helicopter appears to sport some sort of targeting turret.
