The transparent and opaque armor was tested to defeat three hits, each one being fired on the apex of an equilateral triangle as specified. The weapon was positioned five meters from the target, the target being placed at a 90-degree angle from the weapon. Using this test method, the opaque armor being used in this quotation will defeat the following projectiles:
7.62 x 39mm 57-N-231 – PS (AK-47) 3 Hits
7.62 х 51mm NATO M80 (Enfield SLR L1A1) 3 Hits
5.56 x 45mm M855, NATO SS109 (Colt М 16) 3 Hits
7.62 х 54mm 57-N-323S– LPS, Dragunov SVD 3 Hits

ATLAS TACTICAL SOLAR COOL SYSTEM
Designed and manufactured for the exclusive use on the Hollow Cavity formed double monocoque Tactical armored vehicle body manufactured by: ARMORED TACTICAL VEHICLES INC.
The ATLAS TACTICAL SOLARCOOL SYSTEM is a must in heavy sun and high heat locations such as the MENA region, South America, southern North American sites, Arabian Gulf and Africa. In countries in the aforementioned regions, when not in use, metallic armored vehicle bodies can sit and bake in the sun at temperatures exceeding 65 degrees Celsius and thus when needed, the heat renders troops unprotected by not allowing them entry into the vehicle until the air conditioning system has sufficiently cooled the interior.
Function:
Using an integrated solar panel along with a ventilated fan mounted to the top of the tactical vehicle, the ATLAS SOLAR COOL SYSTEM continuously pulls cool air from underneath the shade of the vehicle body and runs this cooler air through a heat exchanger built into the vehicle’s framed Hollow Cavity.
Whenever the sun is shining, this innovative cooling system effectively draws the heat off of the inner skin of the vehicle, the exchange of air is done automatically and will run the exchanging system to replace the heated air of the vehicle’s interior and in doing so, the armored inner wall skin temperature will continuously decrease and effect a continuous cooling of the vehicle’s interior.
The electrical generation and effective cooling is clearly a renewable energy system that totally functions without drawing power from the original battery of the armored vehicle. In addition to the foregoing, the excess electrical energy drawn from the solar panel is used when the vehicle engine is not in operation for extended periods and it continuously maintains the vehicle’s battery system to a full charge.
