Citat:Romanian authorities are considering the possibility that Russia deliberately contaminated a large shipment of Azerbaijani oil supplied to the OMV Petrom refinery as part of a hybrid war, - G4Media.
The oil was tainted with organic chlorides at concentrations high enough to cause serious damage to the refinery. According to the outlet, such contamination could have been carried out through a relatively simple sabotage operation on the 1,700 km Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline.
OMV Petrom notified the Romanian Ministry of Energy about the problem, which left the Petrobrazi refinery unable to process 184,000 tons of imported oil. As a result, the ministry declared an energy emergency to implement operational measures.

Organo hloridi i fluoridi se relativno cesto srecu u nekim naftama, ja vise tipujem na to da Azeri nisu uradili dovoljno dobri osnovno preciscavanje.

Egipat i Izrael su blizu otpočinjanja radova na gasovodu kojim bi se gas sa polja Levijatan, u istočnom delu Mediterana izvozio u Egipat, umesto da se prevozi tankerima.
Prethodno su dve zemlje potpisale višegodišnji ugovor vredan 130 mlrd za izvoz u Egipat 6 milijardi kubnih metara gasa godišnje.
Egipat, je skoro pa primoran na ovaj sporazum, jer se tokom ove godine suočavao sa isključenjima električne energije i obustavama proizvodnje veštačkog đubriva.

Na ovaj način, Kairo je izraelcima u šaci, i iako postoji duboki prezir običnih egipćana prema severnom susedu, široke narodne mase nisu više spremne za žrtve koje su neophodne ako bi ušli u otvoren sukob zbog palestinaca.
