Take away the soldier’s modern uniform and we could be looking at any of the armies that invaded Sicily in the last 25 centuries. Proof that technology may have evolve, intentions not so much.

Bile su mi interesantne slike pa sam malo proguglao. Ovo je nemačka maska iz WWII, model Pferdegasmaske-41. Evo još fotografija:
Ono što mi je čudno kod ove maske je to što ima zaštitne naočare i ova dva bakelitna konusa sa filterima koji se guraju u nozdrve, ali nema nikakvu zaštitu za usta. One četiri crne "kese" iz kompleta na poslednjoj fotografiji su zaštita za noge. Nije mi jasno kako ovakva maska funkcioniše sa nezaštićenim ustima. Jedino ako su konji obučeni da dišu samo na nos...
