... према линку у питању је варијанта Мк IIб, али не видим црвено обележене позиције за још по два Браунинга у висини рондела на крилима. Можда ипак Мк IIа?

 Citat:Built in New York in 1941, this P-40 was sent to Great Britain, then on to the Soviet Union in 1942 to a squadron near Murmansk, Russia. There, it was shot down while escorting Tupolev SB bombers and stayed on the frozen tundra for almost 50 years. It was purchased in 1992 and was the first plane the Military Aviation Museum ever acquired. It was sent to New Zealand to be restored and returned to the skies after extensive reconstruction in 2003. It is painted up as a P-40E of the Flying Tigers Squadron and has been personally signed by 'Tex' Hill, a Flying Tigers ace.
