Citat:The U.S. government has cleared the sale of two King Air Scorpion Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) mission aircraft to Kazakhstan.

An approximate total of 117 aircraft are believed to have been auctioned off, with the majority being MiG-27s, MiG-29s, and Su-24s, and even a few MiG-31s. To be specific, Kazakhstan intends to sell 10 MiG-31 aircraft right away.

The conditions of sale are rather distinctive.
The auctioned aircraft, which are termed “boards”, have reportedly reached their limit of service life and upgrading, rendering them unfit for purpose or even to serve as “part donors”.
