We forgot to report about a crash without injuries at the military base Námest nad Oslavou (Czechia). On 28 November 2018, Mi-35 (serial 3361) of 22.Základna Vrtulníkového Letectva (22.zL), 221.vrlt of the Vzdušné síly armády České republiky (Czech Air Force) was involved in an accident during a stress test of the attack helicopter.
At a flight level of just several meters, serious engine troubles occurred that resulted in the crash. Parts of the engine blades scattered around and the helicopter was badly damaged, and might be even a write-off. Luckily, the pilots could escape without injuries.
According to the General Staff of the 22.zL, the accident is the subject of further investigation, as well as the amount of damage.
