IRIS-T SLM u Ukrajini

223. raketni puk protivvazduhoplovne odbrane podelio je novi video koji sadrži duže i delimično veoma detaljne snimke lansera IRIS-T SLM/SLS, radara za vazdušno osmatranje TRML-4D i Taktički Operativni Centar (TOC) njihove vatrene jedinice IRIS-T SLM.

Prilog takođe uključuje nekoliko lansiranja presretača.

Do sada je Nemačka isporučila 9 vatrenih jedinica IRIS-T SLM, uključujući 27 lansera IRIS-T SLM i 18 lansera IRIS-T SLS Ukrajini, a očekuje se da će još 3 do 4 vatrene jedinice IRIS-T SLM biti isporučene tokom godine.

Latvia had awarded a contract to Diehl in late 2023 worth 600 million € for the procurement of the IRIS-T SLM Air Defence System.

Citat:The German-based Diehl Defence has openned a new building at its Nonnweiler site in Saarland as part of the companies plans to expand IRIS-T Air Defence System and missile production.
The company is scaling up its production capacity to meet both European and Ukrainian demand for air defence systems. In 2022 the company produced two IRIS-T SLM systems, this year they plan to produce 10 witzh further expansion to 16 in 2028.
The pruduction of IRIS-T SL missiles heas meanwhile increased tenfold from 100 in 2022 to almost 1.000 in 2025 with plans to further increase this to 2.000 missiles in 2027.
Again, large consistant orders cause industry to scale up and deliver in volume. There is an existing backlog of 44 IRIS-T SLM Fire Units with the potetntial for that to go to 104 (if Germany does indeed go for 50 units that is) and industry is reacting accordingly.

Citat:Germany has so far delivered nine IRIS-T SLM fire units to Ukraine, with another nine being pledged to be delivered by the end of 2028. So far, every fire unit consists of three IRIS-T SLM launchers, two IRIS-T SLS launchers, a TRML-4D air surveillance radar and a TOC. They are supplemented by support elements such as a workshop, spare parts, reloading and logistical vehicles.

In April this year, Germany agreed to finance 36 additional launchers (18 SLS/18 SLM) for a total of €182 million. They are to be integrated into both the so far delivered and pledged fire units.
