This next-generation mask, also known as the Joint Service Aircrew Mask – Rotary Wing, replaces the Aircrew Eye and Respiratory Protection system on HH-60G Pave Hawk and UH-1N Huey aircraft.
The new mask provides aircrew vastly improved ocular, percutaneous and respiratory protection and integrates with night vision goggles, requires no aircraft modification, and has joint service commonality, a five-fold increase in fit factor, a six-fold increase in battery life, and a removable faceplate.
In addition, the mask gives aircrew an enhanced field of view so they can better conduct combat missions in a CBRN environment.

Једно питањце. У подацима за заштитне маске М2 и М3 стоји заштитни фактор већи од 10000. Шта то означава?

Da ce ako koristi masku manje od 1/10000 imati probleme od BoT.

Хвала пуно. Сад је на мени да објасним како знам и умем буразеру. Полицајац је а има неки курс за предавача, а није баш у току са абхо средствима пошто није служио војску. А ја право да кажем се и не сећам дал смо такву информацију уопште и добили у току обуке.

U.S. Army awards Avon Protection with $245M contract for M53A1 gas masks
Citat:The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded Avon Protection Systems a $245,9 million contract for production of M53A1 gas mask.
According to a DoD statement, Avon Protection Systems, the world leader in the design of advanced CBRN respiratory protection solutions, was awarded a $245,961,250 contract for production of M53A1 Chemical Biological Protective Mask systems.
Avon Protection Systems is a major supplier to the U.S. Military including the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard.
The M53A1 was developed to counter military unique and domestic threats encountered on the modern battlefield, the global war on terrorism, and peacekeeping operations around the world.
According to Avon Protection, the M53A1 gas mask provides protection against traditional chemical and biological agents, select toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), and particulate matter including radioactive dust.
The M53A1 can function as a conventional negative pressure or air purifying respirator (APR), powered-air purifying respirator (PAPR), self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), closed-circuit breathing apparatus (CCBA) and combination SCBA and PAPR systems.
