As part of the preparatory program for operations in difficult and complex environments, the members of the Special Operations, in cooperation with the Paratrooper units from the United Kingdom Army, successfully completed an intensive training in the tropical jungles of Belize.
The training aimed to develop survival skills, tactical movements and effective operations in extreme conditions. During the training, the troops faced dense terrain, harsh climate and constant fatigue - elements that test every aspect of physical and mental preparation.
On this occasion, the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari hosted the KSF contingent that was part of this training and congratulated them on the successes shown in this challenging training.
This activity reinforced discipline, resilience, and cooperation among members, demonstrating their ability to act with professionalism and determination in any operational environment.

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji.
Initially, General Jashari thanked General Kingji for his leadership in leading the KSF, as well as for his support and brotherly encouragement to the KSF. They also discussed current developments in the field of security and the role of the KSF in guaranteeing the security of Kosovo, as an important contributor to maintaining regional stability.
During the meeting, both generals highly praised the progress of the KSF in the field of development and modernization, as well as the performance of our troops in interoperability during multinational activities. At the same time, the importance of the AAF's support for the further development of the KSF was emphasized, especially in the areas of education, training and exchange of experiences, further advancing bilateral cooperation. At the conclusion of the meeting, the generals reiterated that the deepening of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania and the Kosovo Security Force remains a national strategic priority. In this context, the strengthening of defense capacities was considered essential for ensuring regional security and stability.

The Kosovo Security Force today celebrated November 27th - Force Day, where citizens were introduced to the mission, capacities, capabilities and professionalism of the KSF. On this occasion, the KSF barracks in Pristina, Istog, Gjilan, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Prizren and Pomozotin opened their doors to citizens, offering them the opportunity to see up close the equipment, tools and functioning of military units.
The main activity was held at the Adem Jashari barracks in Pristina, where the heads of state were present and were welcomed by the Commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari and the Minister of Defense, Mr. Ejup Maqedonci. The event was also attended by teachers, students and many citizens, who were presented with the professional capabilities and demonstrations of various KSF units.
General Jashari, on behalf of the KSF, expressed gratitude to all citizens for the participation and interest shown on this special day of the KSF.

The KSF demonstrates the specialized capacities of the National Guard in the Golden Sabre 25 exercise for the second time this year. The participation of the KSFs specialized units in an exercise of this context represents an important step in advancing inter-institutional cooperation between KFOR, KSF, KP and EULEX.
The engagement of the KSF in this multinational context, with the specialized capacities of the National Guard, constitutes a clear evidence of the advancement of capabilities in carrying out key tasks for providing Military Support to Civil Authorities (MUAC) in accordance with NATO standards.
This activity brought together participants from various partner and allied countries, with the aim of increasing interoperability and testing preparedness and coordinated response to crises, in a complex operational environment.
The KSF continues to deepen its engagement in joint local and international initiatives, relying on sustainable partnerships and the vision of a safe, integrated country ready to contribute to global peace and stability.

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received today with a military ceremony the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, General Metin Tokel.
Initially, General Jashari congratulated General Tokel on his appointment to the position of Commander of the Land Forces, and also thanked him for his visit to the Republic of Kosovo. The generals discussed the excellent cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and the Turkish Armed Forces, with particular emphasis on the training and activities that have had a special role in the development and establishment of the Force, as well as the possibilities of expanding this cooperation in order to increase the military capacities of the KSF.
For his part, General Tokel reaffirmed his commitment, as well as that of the Turkish Armed Forces, to continue and deepen cooperation with the KSF, highly appreciating the development and professionalism of the Kosovo Army. In conclusion, the two generals agreed to further expand bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, with a focus on carrying out joint activities, with the aim of advancing interoperability between our forces.
Citat:KSF Deputy Commander Participates in UK Security and Defense Meeting with Western Balkan Military Leaders
The Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Major General Enver Cikaqi, participated in the meeting organized by the UK Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Ms. Karen Pierce, with the military leaders of Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting took place on a British Royal Navy ship, where the importance of regional cooperation in the field of security and defense was discussed, as well as the role of joint initiatives in addressing security challenges in the region. The focus of the discussions was the security situation and the effect of the aggression in Ukraine on this part of Europe, as well as the coping with emergencies that are challenging our countries, with particular emphasis on the need for military support to civil authorities and close coordination between the countries of the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants agreed that British support and taking concrete steps within the framework of regional initiatives are essential for advancing cooperation and building a safer and more stable Balkans.

Lieutenant Colonel Fatlum Demiri, Major Leutrim Hoti and Major Gurakuq Haradinaj have completed the Program on Applied Security Studies (PASS) in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany, organized by the European Center for Security Studies George C. Marshall Center where 82 participants from 51 different countries from 5 continents of the world participated.
PASS is a postgraduate program in international security studies that aims to strengthen the ability of civilian and military professionals to analyze, understand and respond to contemporary security challenges through applied learning, strategic dialogue and international cooperation. This program serves as a platform for strategic education and network building that prepares mid- and senior-level officials and officers from partner countries to formulate and implement integrated security strategies in accordance with democratic values and international norms.
Our military personnel have demonstrated success in this program by being leaders and key presenters of relevant groups, seminars and courses throughout the program.

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received today the President of the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Mrs. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu. During the visit, an informative briefing was held by the KSF Special Operations Unit, where the purpose and objectives of the unit were presented. During this presentation, the advancements and professional capacities of this elite KSF unit were also discussed.
President Osmani and General Jashari closely followed the demonstration of an improvised scenario, during which the members of the Special Operations displayed a high level of professionalism, preparation and coordination.
President Osmani and the Commander of the KSF expressed their satisfaction with the overall achievements of the Kosovo Security Force and in particular with the progress of the Special Operations Unit.
At the conclusion of the visit, President Osmani had lunch with the female members of the KSF, highly appreciating their contribution to the development and strengthening of the Force's capacities, as well as to the promotion of gender equality in the service of the country.
Citat:KSF interoperable with partners in Operation Interflex
The Kosovo Security Force is contributing with its capacities to Operation Interflex in the United Kingdom in support of the training of Ukrainian military personnel, thus assisting in joint training with partners to confront Russian aggression in Ukraine.
The KSF is operating with the fourth contingent since the beginning of its participation in Operation Interflex, where it has been joined by Echo Company (led by a unit from New Zealand). This company consists of 4 units from different countries (New Zealand, Kosovo, Estonia and Lithuania).
The KSF contingent is carrying out planning tasks, necessary logistical preparations and the execution of 5-week courses for Ukrainian forces. During the period of engagement, Echo Company has completed a total of three training courses for Ukrainian forces.
The mission and purpose of the KSF contingent is to prepare members of the Ukrainian forces for squad leadership, combat tactics from the individual to the squad level such as: patrols, offensive and defensive operations, Troop Leadership Procedure (PUT), leadership, command and control, the use of drones of various types, as well as tactical shooting.

Cadets of the Center for University Studies successfully completed the Dardan Triumph 2025 patrol, a military competition that takes place every year in difficult terrain conditions and that tests the physical, mental and tactical abilities of the participants.
A total of 27 cadets divided into three teams participated in this patrol, where special attention was paid to the participation of the team from the Turkish Military Academy. Their participation constitutes an excellent example of military cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey, strengthening friendship and the exchange of professional experiences between the two friendly armies.
This activity not only strengthened military ties between the educational institutions of the two countries, but also proved that common challenges build lasting friendship and shared professionalism.
At the conclusion of the patrol, all cadets, including those from the Turkish Military Academy, were commended for the dedication, determination, and fighting spirit they showed throughout the competition.

Lieutenant Florent Korrani has graduated from the basic training for Military Engineering, at Fort Leonard Wood, in the United States of America.
The training focuses on preparing young leaders for planning, leading and directing military engineering operations.
Lieutenant Korrani has been awarded a certificate for distinguished academic achievement (Honor Graduate) which is awarded to military personnel who achieve high results in the academy during training.
Citat:KSF successfully validates the Third Infantry Regiment in the Field Exercise Wolf Arrow
The Kosovo Security Force today held the Distinguished Visitors Day of the field exercise Wolf Arrow as a concluding process of a long engagement in the validation of the Third Infantry Regiment.
The Commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted the acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, representatives from the Embassies accredited in the country, representatives from KFOR, Defense Attachés and military representatives from partner countries in this exercise.
Initially, General Jashari informed the attendees about the achievements of the KSF in general and in particular about the stages through which the Third Infantry Regiment has passed to achieve validation based on the military mission within the Land Forces Command. Validation of units is a long process of planning, training, personnel training and logistical support in order to carry out tasks in fulfillment of the mission.
Then the units deployed in the field within the framework of the Field Exercise "Arrow Wolf" demonstrated defensive operations, offensive operations and culminated with stability operations.
The Kosovo Security Force, based on the Comprehensive Transition Plan, is increasing the operational capacities of the units, based on their mission. Therefore, within the framework of this exercise, the Third Infantry Regiment was validated.
