Later, the Bundeswehr may play a more active part, Spiegel reported, though this would be limited to supporting roles that don’t directly interact with nuclear weapons.

Countries flock to claim EU defense loans, Poland gets lion’s share

As well as low interest payments, the loans also come with a ten-year grace period for repayment.
