Citat:An Israeli soldier was killed, and another was seriously wounded in an incident of so-called "friendly fire" in southern Lebanon overnight, the military announces.
The slain soldier is named as Sgt. First Class Guy Ludar, 21, of the Commando Brigade's Maglan Unit, from Yuvalim.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. during an arrest operation in the southern Lebanese village of Shebaa.
The Maglan commandos had raided Shebaa to arrest a suspect who was allegedly aiding Hezbollah.
