Po pisanju izraelske štampe Liberman je bio već viđen za odstrel. Bio je potpuno van kontrole i izraelske vlade a i američkih gazda. Svi su se plašili da ne povuče neki nepromišljeni potez. On je samo iskoristio pogodan momenat da sam ode a da ne bude smenjen.
