Citat:Upgrades to the EA-18G aircraft’s airborne electronic attack (AEA) system will take the Navy’s implementation of electronic warfare to the next level with improved radar jamming, target location and destruction, and air defense suppression capabilities.
The planned upgrades will be carried out through a contract modification of $91,034,997 awarded to Northrop Grumman for the design and installation of improved AEA software configurations and the corresponding hardware for the Boeing’s EA-18G aircraft electronic warfare platform.

LRASM successful jettison from Super Hornet
Citat:The Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) was successfully jettisoned from a Boeing Super Hornet recently, Lockheed Martin said in a press release.
The company said the data from this jettison test “is used to validate the aerodynamic separation models of the missile. This successful test event paves the way for flight clearance to conduct captive carry integration testing scheduled for mid-year at the Navy Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake, California.”
